I have a daughter who has complex CHD and has had 5 heart surgeries, has suffered strokes and many other complications. My hubby and I have experienced these types of responses too. It's so hard to have an chronically ill child and have to worry about finances too. I can imagine it was very hard for you to even call those people up and ask for their help and then for them to react that way. Heartbreaking. We've even had that happen with family members. I just noticed your links along the sidebar. We are LDS too. I would like to swap blog links if it's ok with you. Parker is a sweetie and there is a reason he is here and has all his medical problems. He is touching a lot of lives and opening a lot of hearts. You are doing a terrific job. I know how hard it is, my dd is "terminally ill" and thinks we are attached at the hip. It's almost 1:30am and I am still trying to get her to bed.
