I went out yesterday and discovered that my chives are starting to poke their heads up.
Which made me start longing for Spring.
I’ve been planning my garden. Reed is taking out a few trees from our stream bank to help our garden get more sun this year. Hopefully we can increase our yield this season.
Dreamin’ of flowers in my flower pots. Our backyard always looks so sad in the winter. But it really comes to life in the spring and summer.
Reed talks about ripping out this herb garden and upgrading it. But I won’t let him. I love it just the way it is. Herb gardens aren’t modern. They are old fashioned goodness making their way back in modern times.
And really. Doesn’t this swing look lonely?
Parker and I have been reading books about Spring.
We are dreaming of spring showers and the rainbows that follow.
Life is good, and is only getting better.
I have so many dreams of spring and summer projects scheduled for the coming months. It has been a awhile since I have really had the desire (time? strength? opportunity?) to do some re-doing around here.
Anticipation. The good kind. That’s the word for today.

I just want to tell you that I think you all are amazing! Your little boy is such a blessing to you and everyone around! I have a son who is a micro preemie, born at 23 weeks…and he has much of the same problems as your son. God bless you with much love! Great blog!
Im always dreaming of spring. Im so tired of looking at the brown trees, and white ground.
Cant wait to see how you garden grows.
I’m planning my garden, too. Oh, spring! We can’t wait.
I hear you!!!
YAY spring!!! I Cannot wait either
What pretty pictures in that book Parky
Yes, the swing looks very lonely, it is longing for a smiling sweet little boy to sit in it. I sure hope we all have an early spring this year!
Love to all,
Amy
I’m up for some re-doing, too. Good luck with yours.
Loving my Parky fix here…love ya’ll.
My tulips and daffodils are peeking out of the ground and it is driving me wild. I want to plant stuff so bad, but I also know that a frost is right around the corner.
BTW I got the book and read it in one afternoon. It was fascinating and an amazing read. Thanks!
I am sooo with ya on this one!!!! Can’t wait to see what amazing things you grow in your garden this year!!!
