  1. I think I understand you quite well here. 16 years ago we lost our baby girl and my eldest was 11 at the time. She expressed pretty much the same thing and my second daughter who was 6 the time expressed it a little differently, that I wasn’t “fun anymore”.

I was always one to play rather than clean — life is to short to spend all your time cleaning!

    You are in my prayers!

  2. Rebecca says:

My heart broke a bit for you when I read that. Being a worrier is who you are, and it’s fine – but finding joy in life is also a gift. It can be a hard gift, sometimes. You’re in my prayers, too.

  3. Jessica says:

Tammy, that brought tears to my eyes! I can’t blame you for being worried for Parker and you’re so lucky to have a son that cares that much for his mom! You guys are ALWAYS in my prayers!

  4. amy flege says:

Tammy, I felt so sad for you when I read this…being a worrier is who you are but you are also a fun loving mom!!! I , have to remind myself sometimes to forget about the laundry, the toliets, etc, just so I make sure I spend quality time with my kids… It so hard to do but I know deep down you can do it….
    You are so blessed tammy!!!

  5. Barb says:

Oh my goodness, Tammy. You could have written this about ME! I’m so like this. I laugh inside all the time but for some reason, it’s hard for me to laugh out loud. When I finally do, my whole family just stops and looks at me like I’m nuts.

I so need to remember to laugh out loud when I’m laughing inside. My family deserves that.

    This really, really moved me.

  6. Michelle says:

This moved me to Tammy! I’m also a born worrier, just can’t help it. I need to let go a little bit though, and I’m going to try, really hard. thanks for the reminder!

  7. I am worrier too. I completely understand that.

Hope you are able to laugh a little more though. Your road has been so hard – it is so hard to be able to laugh. But I hope somehow you will find a way!

  8. Chris says:

You’re in a tough (how’s that for an understatement) time right now, but as soon as Parker is better, which is just around the corner, your whole family will be laughing every day- I just know it! Just try not to be too hard on yourself in the meantime, OK :)
