It was a rough night.
I woke up to Parker crying. Our night nurse (we actually had one last night) was trying to calm him down, but sometimes a guy just needs his Mom.
He’s sick. The Snot is back. In spades. And to make life even more exciting we’re pretty sure he is aspirating on his very own post nasal drip.
Those poor lungs of his are never going to get a chance to heal.
I’ll be spending the day snuggling my favorite Brave Hero. On these kind of days the rest of the world just has to be ignored.
This kid of mine is such a force of nature. You not only see him when he enters a room, but you feel him as well. That energy of his embraces you. Energy that is infused with an expectation of goodness and discovery.
He’d go out and conquer the world if only he were tall enough to turn the door knob to freedom.
He could use your prayers. Prayers for this to pass quickly and for these little lungs of his to heal.
And for his energy to recharge.
