Hi,
My Nmae is Kitawna I am a new mother to my beautiful son Tayven who is 6mo. old who also has Trisomy 21 and AV cannal heart deffect. I recieved a book from a close friend called (Gifts) and I read your story and was very touched. I too spend a great amount of time at PCMC we ccam here for Heart Sugery but during a Pre-opp his heart failed for 30 min. so we now are dealing with brain damage and working everyday with trying to get off the ventalator and he hope that a 3rd time will be a charm. Before I read Gifts I felt I was really alone with how I feel and think. If we could stay in contact it would be great.
I too will pray for Parker and you family.

My first thought was “freecycle” but I see others have already suggested it.

Doesn’t sound like fun for Parker or you. We’ll be praying.

I had no idea what PSARP surgery was. Then I googled it. I will most assuredly be praying for Parker and for his mommy too! You are BOTH hero’s in my books.

my kids and mom are keeping up on Parker too and have him, and you, in their prayers. A friend just had a baby with Down syndrome who is having a number of health problems, everytime I think of Abigail I remember Parker. Thats a lot.

hang in there, and I vote for freecycle too. You can get some great stuff from there and if people knew Parkers story I know you’d have offers by the dozen.
