It doesn’t matter how many chromosomes, bags, tubes, wires or monitors this kid comes with. To us he is simply perfect in every way.
On Tuesdays and Fridays Parker’s new Physical Therapist comes to our home to work with Parker. Today was a little rough. It is hard to know when he is frustrated or if something is really uncomfortable.
If left to his own devices, Parker would just skip the whole physical therapy thing all together thankyouverymuch. But for a kid born with low tone who has been sick so much of his life, therapy is a must have in order to one day reach our coveted goal of walking.
He’ll get there. It will be in his own time and by his own game plan. And that is okay. And while we are waiting for that time to arrive we will still think of him as being simply perfect.

You know the little milestones in life of a child … like walking etc. seem so small when there are no snags and they seem so huge and wonderful and glorious when you work so hard from them and know they are direct gifts from God in Heaven. I’m praying for Parker to have strength and resilience in his PT and for him to make wonderful progress! He’ll be walking before you know it!
