Pride In Association

Special Needs Blog

My Dad likes to tell me that in another life time I must have been a Great Warrior. He says this with not a small amount of pride, for he too shares my same spirit.

We both believe in standing up for what you believe in…..consequences be d*mned.

Because if you aren’t willing to stand up for what is right, who will?

So, my post over at 5 Minutes For Special Needs is about others brave enough to stand up for what they know is right. And not just behind the screen of a computer. But in the media, where thousands of others can hear their words, and know their faces.

One day, I hope that Parker’s health will allow us to stand shoulder to shoulder with others who share our desire to make a difference and blaze a new trail.

Until then though, I’ll keep writing and hoping that you will read.

Parker and I also hang out over at: 5 Minutes For Special Needs

I just sent you an email, but feel free just to post anyway if you want. I can retype the text if you prefer. But, I’m fine if just the headline shows. Lemme know! :)

  3. Tammy, you’re a beautiful person. A special Mother. A beautiful Daughter of Christ and I appreciate you.

    Hi Tammy,

I have contacted you before about clothes for Parker. And, of course, life got in the way. What size is Parker wearing? We have a ton of things that don’t fit our guy anymore and if you let us know what Parker needs, we can see what we have in that style and size and would be happy to send them on!

We know it doesn’t help with that $4,000 antibiotics bill, but it’s a little something you wouldn’t have to worry about…
