Just a few things, have you tried a passy-muir valve? it provides passive resistance so you can hear them vocalize. It also helped my Sean get off his trach. You need to work with your pulmonologist to use this. With all the tubes and wires you need to run them through the pajamas in the back and from the feet so they won’t get tangled around their arms or neck. Also, there are chain trach holders that make keeping their neck clean easier. Also there is a Neo Sucker that has a very small tip that lets you clear their noses. Of course keeping everything as clean as possible will help as you already know. Just dad

Parker reminds me a lot of my Beloved Ashley! The way Parker’s hand is bent while he is sleeping is exactly the way my Ashley would position her hand when she slept. How I miss my girl!!!
