I am so far behind in reading blogs. I’m hoping you’ll forgive me. I’ve been spending great amounts of time at 5 Minutes For Special Needs trying to get everything up and wonderful. It isn’t my site. It belongs to Susan and Janice from 5 Minutes For Mom fame. I’m just the managing editor.
But 5 Minutes For Special Needs could one day turn into an actual paying gig. And since my family is kind of expecting groceries to be purchased every once in a while, I’m thinking that actually earning a little bit of money with my blogging might help keep those expectations a reality.
Food storage is great concept. But even the best food storage stashes run out. And I need to be thinking ahead.
I miss you guys though. I miss your kids. I miss being all up in your business. I plan fixing that. Soon.
I have been (sorta) productive though.
There’s been support for our favorites.
Halloween decorating. Isn’t that mum a gorgeous gift? It will be transplanted into my flower garden later.
Cooking for the freezer. Parker’s got two surgeries coming up. The one in November will include a week’s stay. I want to make sure my family can simply pull out a home cooked meal and pop it in the oven while I am gone.

Cause come hell or high water, Parker’s new vent is staying right where it is at.
Which means we need to figure out a way to pay for it.
I’m keeping the faith that we will.

Hi Tammy and Parky! Parker, I needed to see this pic of you right now, lol! This house feels like a circus at the moment and seeing you just helped!! Is the new vent working well Tammy? Oh I sure hope so!!! I keep praying that it is.
Your such a sweet mommy to make up food for your family!! I just know they appreciate that so much. LOVE your Halloween decor!!! Mums are so beautiful.

I love your Halloween decorations too! What a great idea to freeze meals ahead!! They will feel your love even if you are not eating the meals with them!
