Okay – we planted so late that I’m jealous of those big green tomatos!!! Your garden is lovely!

  2. Ecki says:

Our tomatoes are taking forever this year, too. Probably because we don’t want to BUY any of the big ones and the only thing we can put on our burgers are grape and cherry tomatoes, ROFL.

  3. Cynthia says:

I was just thinking the same thoughts about our miniature garden. Watching and waiting and anticipating is a big part of life as a mom, gardening speeds that up. All fun, either way.

  4. It is lookin’ good Tammy! Just think of how wonderful that is going to taste!! OH MY, I can just taste it now!! Your lucky ~ I should be doing that :(

    Love ya,
    Amy

  5. Yeah– our tomatoes are taking FOREVER, too! We’ve had exactly four zucchini–and then the plants stopped making them. We got buds. But no zucchini. I’m starting to wonder if the boys have somehow sabotaged my zucchini. We’ve already finished our first planting of lettuce–two more rows just sprouted!

  6. Tricia says:

It seems like a garden always takes forever and ever and ever. I sometimes stand and watch mine just hoping it would grow. I remember what my grandma used to say. A watch pot never boils!

  7. Lacia & Kaia says:

My garden is taking forever too! Last year at this time my tomato plants were huge and plentiful and I had tons of ripe tomatos. This year they are rather pitiful looking and hardly any tomatos on them. And my zucchini bloomed like crazy, but none are ready yet. Hopefully sometime soon we’ll both have lots!

  8. Kelly says:

We gave up on gardening a few years ago. It took forever, and then when the weeds took over, we just had a jungle. I’m envious of your garden, though…

  9. Terri (Sam's Mom) says:

Here in the south, we would pick some of those green tomatoes and make fried green tomatoes, a big pot of beans, cornbread, and greens…and that is a meal, of course it is not a salad…lol.

  10. nell says:

I would be anxiously awaiting it all also!
